For my birthday, a month ago, I had a watermelon cake. It’s rather interesting. A bit to much watermelon for me, but it was kinda fun!
First, cut off the top and bottom, then cut the rind off the side, so it is it the shape of a cylinder. Ours wasn’t perfect, but that’s what Cool Whip is for.
Take an 8 oz tub of Cool Whip, and spread it all over the watermelon. You might want to dab the watermelon with a paper towel a bit before you do this, cause I was having trouble getting it to stay on because it was to wet. The Cool Whip kept sliding off!
I think there is a reason those tubs of Cool Whip are so big. I mean, you have to eat some, and when there are four teenage girls, you might notice that there isn’t as much left as there would be without us. 🙂
Anyway, after that, we covered the sides with almonds. We didn’t toast them, but they would be really good that way. After that, we piled as much fruit on the top as possible. There is kiwi on the bottom, strawberries, and some ENORMOUS blackberries.
There you go! Hope you guys like it!
